Media King AI
Privacy Policy
How Media King handles account information, Project content, website scans, connectors, AI requests, generated media, and privacy rights.
Effective date: August 24, 2026
1. Scope and the role of Media King
This Privacy Policy explains how Media King AI (Media King, we, us, or our) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use mediakingai.com, the Media King application, client portal, website scanner, AI and media-generation tools, social publishing tools, reports, support channels, and related services (the Services).
For account and usage information, Media King generally acts as the business responsible for the processing. For materials a customer submits to run marketing work, the customer normally decides the purpose and means of processing and Media King acts as its service provider or processor. The customer is responsible for giving its people and audiences any notices required for its own data and campaigns.
2. Information we collect
- Account and identity data: name, email address, password or authentication identifiers, role, organization, invitations, support messages, and security events.
- Workspace and Project data: business names, websites, descriptions, brand rules, audiences, campaign goals, approvals, review decisions, schedules, reports, and client contact details supplied by an authorized customer.
- Customer Content: documents, images, video, audio, logos, copy, URLs, extracted website text, discovered images and styles, prompts, drafts, generated outputs, and other materials submitted or created through a Project.
- Scanner and access data: target URLs, crawl status, robots and security results, page metadata, and temporary session information. If a customer uses HTTP Basic authentication or an interactive scanner window, credentials are entered directly into the authorized capture and are not intended to be stored by Media King.
- Connector data: provider account identifiers, page or profile identifiers, granted scopes, connection status, token references, publishing results, analytics, comments, and messages permitted by the connected provider. OAuth secrets and access tokens are stored server-side or by the authorized connector service, not in browser fields or customer-visible records.
- Usage, device, and diagnostic data: IP address, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, feature use, error reports, audit events, and security telemetry.
- Billing data: plan, entitlements, credit reservations, usage totals, invoices, payment status, and limited transaction identifiers. Payment card numbers are handled by the payment processor and are not stored by Media King.
- Communications: email delivery data, notification preferences, survey responses, and messages you send to support.
3. How information is collected
- Directly from you or your organization when you register, create a Project, upload material, connect an account, request support, or approve an action.
- From connected social, advertising, storage, analytics, payment, and other providers when an authorized user grants access and the provider permits the requested data.
- Automatically from browsers, devices, logs, cookies, and similar technologies needed for authentication, reliability, security, preferences, and permitted measurement.
- From public or customer-authorized websites and sources selected for a Project. The scanner is bounded, respects applicable access rules and robots signals, and does not authorize access to sites or materials the customer is not permitted to use.
4. How we use information
- Provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services; authenticate users; isolate workspaces and Projects; and prevent abuse.
- Ingest, organize, cite, and version business knowledge so authorized users can create campaigns, content, media, SEO work, reports, and client reviews.
- Run AI requests, image and video generation, website scanning, previews, moderation, accessibility checks, scheduling, analytics, and approved publishing workflows.
- Reserve and meter AI or media usage, calculate entitlements, process billing, detect duplicate actions, and enforce spend or approval limits.
- Send transactional notices, security alerts, review invitations, service updates, and—where permitted—marketing communications with opt-out controls.
- Respond to requests, troubleshoot, investigate incidents, enforce agreements, comply with law, and protect the rights, safety, and property of users, customers, and Media King.
5. AI, automated processing, and generated media
Media King may use managed AI and customer-approved external AI providers to transform authorized Project material into suggestions, copy, images, video, classifications, summaries, and other outputs. Provider routing is controlled by workspace policy, privacy class, budgets, and server-side credentials.
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, infringing, or unsuitable for a specific audience. It is not legal, medical, financial, scientific, or regulatory advice. Customers must review facts, rights, disclosures, targeting, accessibility, and platform rules before using an output. No generated item is automatically published or used for paid spend without the required approval gates.
Customers should not submit sensitive personal information, secrets, regulated records, or third-party material unless they have a lawful basis and an agreement that permits the processing. Where an external provider is selected, the provider may process the request under its own terms and privacy notice; the customer is shown or can configure the applicable provider policy where the product supports it.
6. Social and advertising connectors
When an authorized user connects a social or advertising account, Media King receives only the scopes approved in the provider consent screen and app configuration. The connection is Project-scoped, can be revoked, and remains fail-closed when ownership, permissions, account, Project, approval, or capability checks do not match.
Provider policies, rate limits, retention rules, outages, moderation, and data-access decisions remain outside Media King. A customer is responsible for having authority over the connected account, honoring platform terms, and reviewing the exact destination, disclosure, budget, audience, and content before activation.
7. Sharing and service providers
We share information only as needed to provide the Services, at the direction of an authorized customer, or as described here. Recipients may include hosting, authentication, email, payments, storage, monitoring, security, AI, media-generation, analytics, and connector providers; professional advisers; and authorities when legally required.
Service providers receive the minimum information reasonably needed, must protect it under their agreements, and may not use customer content for their own unrelated advertising. We do not sell personal information for money and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as a business practice. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of children.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies or local storage for sign-in, security, load balancing, preferences, stale-build recovery, and other functions necessary for the Services. Optional analytics or campaign measurement technologies are used only when enabled for the applicable experience or workspace and are subject to the applicable notice and controls.
You can restrict cookies in your browser, but disabling essential technologies may prevent sign-in or make the Services unavailable. See the Cookie Notice linked below for more detail.
9. Retention and deletion
We keep information while an account, workspace, Project, support matter, legal obligation, security investigation, or billing relationship requires it. Customer retention settings and applicable service agreements control many Project and audit records. Backups, fraud-prevention logs, tax records, and legally required records may persist for a limited additional period.
When information is no longer required, we delete, de-identify, or securely restrict it. Deletion requests do not erase records that we must retain to comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or protect security, and they do not remove copies held by a third-party provider after a customer revoked that provider connection.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed for the risk, including server-side secrets, access controls, workspace and Project authorization, encryption in transit, audit trails, rate limits, idempotency controls, backups, and incident response procedures. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Customers must use strong unique credentials, protect invitations and connector approvals, limit staff roles, review Project assignments, and promptly report suspected compromise to support@mediakingai.com.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information; withdraw consent; and appeal a decision. You may also have the right to opt out of certain sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising uses. Media King does not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
To make a request, email support@mediakingai.com with the account email, organization, request type, and enough information to verify identity. We may ask for reasonable verification and may need the customer organization to handle a request about Customer Content. We aim to respond within the period required by applicable law. Authorized agents must provide proof of authority. If we cannot resolve a request, you may contact the regulator in your jurisdiction.
12. International processing
Media King and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use an applicable transfer mechanism and contractual safeguards. Customers that need a data-processing addendum or location-specific terms should request one before submitting restricted data.
13. Children
The Services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required where you live. Do not create an account or submit a child’s personal information without lawful authority and appropriate safeguards. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact support@mediakingai.com.
14. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy when the Services, law, or processing changes. We will post the new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Material changes will not be applied retroactively to information where prohibited by law.
Privacy contact: support@mediakingai.com. Service address and legal-entity details can be provided in a customer agreement or upon request.
